So, I finally decided to make this page a simple repository for Photographs That Interest ME. Not a travelogue of photos from my life, working their way up from my baby pictures, through high school yearbook shots and military induction photos, stuff like that (who wants to see that?)... and not a showcase of the few 'artistic' images I might have snapped over time either (although I'll include some of those as well). No, I wound up liking the idea of a place where those pictures that have always caught my eye could go, the ones that don't quite fit on the MUSIC or BIO pages of this site, but are still worthy of perusal by the curious, the morbid, or the masochistic (and I am all three). So there won't be much rhyme or reason to this collection, other than the common thread of "Looky what I found in my old box of photos!"

One note of WARNING, though (seriously, folks): the last series of photographs in this gallery are rather 'graphic.' They were taken by a fastwinder camera over the four seconds immediately following a midair collision at an airshow. And in the ensuing crash, there were some deaths among the crowd, I'm sorry to say. I include these pictures not only because they fit the prerequisite of Photographs That Interest ME, but because I was there at the time... with my wife... at ground zero... ducking hurtling wreckage, and dodging stampeding crowd members. So be forewarned: if this is not something you want to see, stop when you get to the pretty picture of the crowd standing beneath the red-white-and-green smoke trails of the stunt team's first pass. That's the last happy picture in the gallery... trust me.
